We have been committed to actively prayer-walking our local court since early 2011. Initially, there were two of us who met one evening a week to prayer walk the entire complex. Since that beginning, we have moved our prayer walking inside the court building and into the courtrooms.  We have experienced the blessing of being able to observe our judges as they serve, noting many of the challenges they encounter.    The insight this gives us fuels our prayers for them and the entire court staff.  Even during this time of pandemic (2020) and the closure of many courtrooms, we have continued to prayer-walk the outside perimeter, praying all the more for the unique challenges of our court system.  With the reopening of many courtrooms, we have been invited back in and welcomed by those we have developed relationships with over the last few years. We treasure those relationships birthed and bathed in prayer.  We continue to prayer walk the courthouse, the county administration building, a jail facility, and support offices including county purchasing and maintenance; asking The LORD’s blessing and favor over all.

There is no significance to what buildings are there, except to say, large or small……….the need for prayer over our judicial system is desperate, and if there are other buildings/facilities involved in your campus………include them!

This ministry is a by-product of other prayer. We had spent about three years praying over the afflicted and oppressed who enter the courts looking for justice. We have seen GOD’s hand move in the courts during this time. He who is Faithful and True has done what He has said He would do! He has been faithful to His Word. We have seen His justice rain down in the courtroom as answer to prayer. We have experienced His power in restraining the enemy and protecting the afflicted. We have learned and are still learning how powerful the prayers of His saints can be. Not because of our strength, but because of Who He Is!

Ours is an ongoing journey. We pray that GOD will raise up multitudes of prayer teams to walk EVERY court in AMERICA. In Jesus’ Name, we celebrate His power over all courts in this nation.

Who we are is of no importance. We are simply servants of the Most High who have heard the call to prayer and we long to have others join the battle.

I have been going to the Ventura courthouse for the last six months to be with my son. It has been emotionally draining, and I have prayed fervently for justice and for God hand to be evident. This past Monday, on January 13, 2020, it was my son’s sentencing day. I was in the courtroom with my son and his wife and my husband was not there. I stepped out to see where he was. He was sitting on the bench and as I told him to come in, I noticed a woman bowing her head and seemed to be praying. I told my husband to go on in, and as the woman walked away, I called to her. She came back and I asked her if she had been praying in front of the courtroom. I noticed her badge, and I immediately knew I had encountered a powerful prayer warrior (or an angel as my family later told me). I briefly told her the circumstances that had transpired over the last six months. She took my hands and prayed with me. Vera was her name, and I felt the power of the Holy Spirit as she prayed. I told her my son’s sentencing was postponed until the next day, as his attorney requested a specific judge. I asked her if she would return and be with us and without hesitation, she said yes. The courtroom number changed after our meeting, and I took a chance and called the number on the card she had given me and left a message and asked that Vera get it Yesterday, as we were about to go into the courtroom, Vera was like a light from heaven as she appeared coming from the elevator.
Your ministry is remarkable. I believe the courts need prayer, as well as the defendants. Vera made a difference and I appreciate what you do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    • Thank you, Joanne, for your encouragement.

Your ministry is an answer to prayer. Over 20 years ago I was in the courtrooms for a divorce. During the time nothing was going on, I walked the halls and prayed. During that time I encountered a young woman on the stairs crying because her children were being taken away from her. I had the opportunity to pray with her. After that I thought to myself what a Ministry this could be coming into the courtrooms in the hallways and praying. There is such hopelessness and despair and hurt and every other emotion they’re in the halls of those courtrooms. At the time it was impossible for me to do as I worked a full-time job. But I did ask God to do something about it and apparently he answered my prayers. Now I am retired and would love to be part of your ministry. Please let me know how I can do that as it would be an awesome privilege to pray for people in those situations. God bless you!

I was blessed to meet Vera on Sept. 20,2022 in courtroom #34. I think another angel called her in for me as he saw how anxious I was. I ask again for prayer as I go back tomorrow morning at 8:30 into courtroom #31. Please pray that the truth will shine brightly and that I can stand strong.
Your ministry is such a blessing!

Wow I was on jury duty and saw a prayer Warrior that’s what I’ll call her.
But she was walking fast going down the hallway. The next day I showed back up and I saw another lady so I asked her what she was doing and I just wanted to commend them very much for what they were doing. And I just wanted to say thank you.I thought it was awesome.Give god all the glory
